The Michael J. Fox Foundation

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and improving therapies for those living with the condition. Established in 2000 by actor Michael J. Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, the foundation has become the largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research worldwide.

The foundation focuses on funding high-impact research, both in basic science and clinical trials, and works to accelerate the development of new treatments. It also prioritizes collaboration with patients, scientists, and industry partners to ensure that research is patient-centered and leads to real-world applications.
